Aventura has signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Shewy, a Swedish Food Tech and Lifestyle company, to launch the brand on the Chinese market. Phase one of the launch is expected to start by the end of 2021.
The main purpose of the LOI is to launch the brand Shewy on the Chinese market. The initial stage of the cooperation will be focused on sales, through Chinese social commerce platforms in the fourth quarter of 2021, before further expanding the brand’s distribution and operations on the Chinese market.

The Swedish Foodtech/Lifestyle brand Shewy was founded in 2018 with the vision to make a healthy lifestyle easier and more accessible. Today Shewy offers a range of sugar-free, functional and vitamin-infused chewing gum with an ambition to challenge and digitalize the dated chewing gum market. The product formula is developed to boost energy, immune system, physical performance and is offered to its customers through digital channels and its unique subscription service. The marketing firm Global Industry Analysts (GIA) estimates that the Chinese chewing gum market will be worth about USD 8 billion within six years. According to the market research firm Research And Markets, China is the world’s largest market for vitamins and dietary supplements, with a total market size of USD 22 billion last year.
