Aventura Group AB (Aventura), the China focused market partner and venture builder, is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Elanders Group (Elanders), a leading global supplier of supply chain management solutions.
Elanders, a public company listed on NASDAQ OMX, delivers a range of digital printing, print and packaging, supply chain and logistics services to a global customer base. The group has close to 7,000 employees in some 20 countries on four continents and annual net sales of over EUR 1.1 billion.
Elanders handles China logistics and fulfillment for customers in the automotive, electronics, fashion, industrial, and health care & life science industries across a network of more than 14 warehouses.
The partnership combines the capabilities of Elanders in global cross-border logistic, warehousing and fulfillment with the expertise of Aventura in building and operating e-commerce shops on Chinese online marketplaces.
According to a Deloitte, cross-border e-commerce generated in China RMB 78.5 billion (USD 11.9 billion) in gross merchandise value in 2018. Yet, this only represented around 2.2% of total online retail sales that same year, suggesting plenty of room for growth.
